Last week we had our first real, true sneak peak of spring.
One afternoon the temperature reached 81 degrees. It was bizarre. And wonderful.
The kids and I cleaned off the back table and took our math outside.
And like the first few days of spring, that took for.ev.er.
But unlike real spring there were no wasps. Wasps are a hallmark of the weather warming in the Deep South.
When we finished school we went for a nice walk around a pseudo-lake in town. It was beautiful.
And then the next morning it was 31 degrees.
And it sleeted ice pellets and misery.
And it was winter again.
But we have hope!! Spring is coming. Soon!!
