We’ve weathered most of No Spend January! For the most part we’ve killed the Dining Out budget. I accounted for two donut runs (one after a hospital visit and X-rays for a feared broken arm, the other was a pre-planned event with out of town company), and one date night with DH early this month. We split an appetizer and desserts.
Today we had another “Dining Out” event. In an amazing show of self control, the kids and I went to Chic-Fil-A and ONLY got our free soup with our calendar cards.
$12 of soup – free!
We went home and rounded it out with pre-purchased crackers, leftover muffins from breakfast, cucumbers from dinner last night, and decaf iced tea.
Perfect. And ZERO out of pocket expense!
