Breakfast

This morning I really, really, really wanted to head to local biscuit place for a bacon biscuit.

But, by “local” I mean it’s 30 minutes away…and we have schoolwork that MUST be done…and art coop today…and it’s a waste of time and money…and…

You get the picture. So instead of a road trip I used Paula Deen’s recipe and subbed in half fresh wheat flour. I also doubled the recipe to freeze the extra (ala Heavenly Homemakers suggestion here).

The result – delicious and on track for school!
